Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
A fundamental aspect of UOEWFC is our commitment to being and inclusive and welcoming environment for all of our members.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every year we host a number of events dedicated to raising money in support of breast cancer research! This year we raised £421 at our tournament, social, and bakesale, bringing our total to nearly £3000 in the club's history.

Movember
During the month of November our members have taken part in a running challenge to raise money and awareness for men's health. In recent years this has been a half marathon from Exeter to Exmouth. This year we also held a tournament, social, and bakesale, raising £1014!

Black History Month
During October we have organised a tournament and bake sale to raise over £200 for Show Racism the Red Card, an anti-racism educational charity.

Bake Sales
We have held additional bake sales and tournaments to raise money for charities such as Mermaids (which supports transgender equality in sport), Intercom Trust (a charity providing services to LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and communities), Freedom4girls (supports those who menstruate by challenging stigmas and gender inequalities associated with menstruation).

Mental Health Awareness Day
This year on 10th October, our Welfare Sec (Thea) organised an amazing sober social, painting at Sunset Society

LGBTQ+ Month
As part of Stonewall's rainbow laces campaign we are having a bakesale, glow in the dark futsal session, and of course our rainbow laces games!

Time to Talk Day
On 5th Feb we hosted a charity tournament to raise money for MIND and awareness of mental health. Earlier in the week we also held a sober social quiz night!
